For 30+ years, T’uy’t’tanat Cease Wyss has been studying ethnobotany, indigenous plant use and medicinal herbs, and in her learning, has raised her daughter Senaqwila with these teachings. 

Passing this knowledge to each generation is vital to their culture and health. With the newest generation, Senaqwila teachers her daughters, Kamaya, age 5, Lily, age 10, are already absorbing their traditional knowledge and use of the Squamish language in their upbringing as well.
